On Friday Ellen's 800th episode will air!

I've been waiting for Ellen to go HD and it looks like she must be doing it.

In this article they say 'HD gear is also being used for HD upgrades for The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

I wonder when they will start showing HD content?

Some how I missed this video that posted was several days ago.
The video is from Halo Pets (the dog food that Ellen's co-owns) and Ellen is interviewing Dr. Spector.

Well, It turns out that Ellen didn't co-host but she did have a little pre-taped segement urging poeple to donate so here's the clip.

Page Six has an article about Ellen raising awareness about animal cruelty.

"She's been named one of the best on TV when it comes to raising awareness of animal issues"

Baltimore Sun just published an article (note: The Article isn't about Ellen it just happened to mention her) that says "Ellen now equals Oprah in shaping cultural cravings. If either of these women says, "Buy it! Love it!" - millions do"

I just thought it was pretty amazing that Ellen is equal to "the queen of tv" in that aspect.

Ellen and Brad Pitt have been nominated for a Webby Award in the activism category for their work with Make it Right.

The Webby awards are considered the Oscars of the web.
